Who We Are
Madilu Women’s Federation, established in 2009, is a registered organization committed to empowering rural women through education, livelihood, and entrepreneurship initiatives.

With a strong network of over 5,000 women across Mysuru, Mandya, and nearby regions, Madilu works closely with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to create sustainable income opportunities and improve quality of life.

A Journey Home After 50 Years
Reuniting Families. Restoring Hope.
One of Madilu's most heartwarming initiatives was reconnecting 70-year-old Ningappa (Basappa Nindappa Poojary) with his family after nearly five decades.
Found living alone at the Hunsur Bus Stand, he had spent years wandering across several states after leaving home in search of work. Through patient fieldwork, coordination with local authorities, and community support, Madilu traced his family and helped reunite him with his loved ones after almost 50 years.
This remarkable journey reflects our commitment to restoring dignity, rebuilding lives, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
Because every life deserves a place to call home.
